Educate: Our Climate Stories

Climate Story Portal

Welcome to our Climate Stories Portal. We have a collection of personal narratives sharing their experiences with climate change. Our stories humanize climate change and are a collective call to action to protect this planet.

We would love to hear from you, share your story here

FAQ

Who can share?

- Future PCVS, PCVs, RPCVs, allies, family and friends! You don't need to be an expert. Can you think of a time you witnessed climate change? It could be rising sea levels in your village or droughts in your home back in the US. We'd love to hear about it.

What do I share?

- You may share a personal narrative, a blog, a poem, and or pictures here. Here are guiding questions to help you write your story. Pictures should be emailed to comms@rpcv4ea.org.

Why does my story matter?

- Your story may invoke a call to action that science and data may not be able to do. Your personal narrative helps people understand how climate change impacts peoples lives and how communities are still rebuilding after the aftermath. This article also emphasizes the significance of sharing your climate story.

What will happen with my story after I submit it?

- These stories will be used for climate advocacy with local and state representatives (that's why we ask for the state and zip code), and on our social media and PR platforms to raise awareness.

How many stories can I submit?

- As many as you want :)
