Join the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers for Environmental Action in our Letters to the Editor (LTE) campaign. Each month on the second Tuesday at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT we write letters to our local papers in support of climate solutions policy. Anyone is welcome to join!
In a surprise turnaround, the budget resolution, formerly called the Build Back Better Act, is back on the table and it is full of climate provisions. Congress will soon be voting on the budget resolution, now referred to as the "Inflation Reduction Act". This bill will be the single largest piece of carbon dioxide reduction passed in the United States history, reducing emissions by an estimated 40% by 2030. This is great news!
